If you have a 6' flagpole mounted to your home or building at ground level, a 3'x5' American flag is the perfect size. This is typical and suggested for most homes or businesses who have a flagpole mounted to the side of the structure. When flying one flag on a flagpole, the length of the flag needs to be at least one quarter the height of the pole. For example, a 40-foot pole requires a minimum 6'x10' American flag with the maximum (and most popular) size being 8'x12'. A great way to determine your ideal flag and flagpole dimensions is to call us directly to discuss your project with us! If you would like a flagpole that is over 50’, then we are happy to discuss this option! We have installed flagpoles as high as 80’ and no project is too big or small for our team.
